Tutorials to fix your Most Common Scooter Issues - Scootology - Malaysia's Best Electric Scooter

E-Scooter How-To Series

If you are reading this, you probably found us because of a service need you have with your e-scooter. Well, you have come to the right place. No matter how well built your e-scooter is, like cars and other mechanical moving things, they require regular maintenance and service.

Quick Tips

We recommend a full service every 4-6 months depending on how often you use your scooter. Most of these services can be done from your home DIY style.

The biggest headache for e-scooter owners are tire blow outs. We recommend to pump to the ideal pressure at least once a month. This is something many riders neglect to do and just doing a quick tire pressure check every month can be a real headache saver. Most scooters require an optimal tire pressure of between 40-55 PSI.

Another quick tip is to ensure that your batteries are not left uncharged for long periods of time. We have adequately explained why in a previous post so we shall not go into it again. But just note that the best care for your battery is to charge it any time and all the time. If you are leaving the scooter in storage, ensure that it has at least 50% charge.

We’ve heard your need for more maintenance videos for your e-scooters and here is what you have asked for! This is just a start of course but stay tuned for many many more tutorials on how to DIY your own scooter.
